A Soldier’s Near Death Experiences: Former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Shilo Harris ( author of Man of Steel, shiloharris.com) received devastating injuries in Iraq on Feb. 19, 2007, when a roadside bomb exploded. After his rescue, he spent 48 days in an induced coma during which he had several Near Death Experiences (NDEs). Like many Veterans Shilo had never really processed his NDEs, mostly because his counselors weren’t trained to recognize them.
